About Me

Close-up of a smiling older man with white hair and a beard, wearing a checkered shirt and a dark blazer.

I’m Simon, and I support parents of teens and young adults.

As a high school teacher for over 25 years, (and as a parent myself), I’ve sat with parents who are doing their best in the middle of complicated, emotional, and often overwhelming situations. I’ve seen how much parents carry — the worry, the frustration, the hope, the love, the uncertainty — and how rarely they have a calm place to talk about it.

My work is to offer that place.

I help parents slow down, understand what’s happening developmentally and emotionally, and find clarity in moments that feel confusing or heavy. I bring warmth, steadiness, and a deep respect for the complexity of parenting during these years.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need the perfect words. You just need a place to land.

My Approach

My approach is simple, human, and grounded in emotional and developmental understanding.

  • We talk. You share what’s happening in your home, your relationship, and inside you.

  • We slow things down. Together, we make sense of what’s beneath the surface.

  • We find clarity. You leave with a steadier sense of what’s going on and how you might respond.

  • We stay grounded. I offer warmth, steadiness, and practical insight — without judgment or pressure.

This isn’t therapy. It’s a conversation that helps you feel supported, understood, and more equipped to navigate what’s happening.

A Little More About Me

I’m someone who values calm, clarity, and honest conversation. I’m drawn to the moments when people feel stuck or unsure — not because they’re easy, but because they’re real.

I care deeply about helping parents feel grounded and capable, even in the middle of hard things. And I believe that small shifts in understanding can create meaningful changes in how families relate to each other.
